Salina Ahmad has over 29 years of professional experience in contract and project negotiation, project feasibility study and evaluation, procurement and overall contract administration. Her involvement in diverse projects in Malaysia and in overseas, has given Salina an accumulation of practical and technical knowledge necessary in excelling in a robust and demanding industry like the construction industry.
Salina began her career at the Royal Commission into The Building Industry as a Research Assistant in NSW Sydney and in 1991 she joined Azhar Rouse & Hisham Sdn. Bhd as a quantity surveyor. After amassing 8 years of experience in UE Construction working on elevated structures and buildings, she became a shareholder at Acre Works in 2003, and in 2009, she was appointed a director of Acre Works.
For almost three decades Salina has gained creditable experience on major infrastructure projects including the LRT, MRT, railways, airport works and numerous other elevated highways across the Peninsula. Salina, having experience as a consultant, a developer and a contractor, is acknowledged for her thorough and particular understanding of the working dynamics within the construction industry. This has given her the special ability to be astute with setting-up procurement routes and to exercise effective cost controls in the implementation of projects.
