The whistleblower may opt to provide or not to provide his/her name, and is protected from retaliation by the Company. Any employee who retaliates against a person for raising a genuine concern will face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. However, knowingly making false or malicious allegations will equally not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
Upon receipt of the report, Acre Works Sdn. Bhd. will take the following actions:
Employees and interested parties may opt to channel concerns about illegal, unethical, improper business conduct affecting them through the following:
All concerns will be treated confidentially and every effort will be made not to reveal the whistleblower's identity. Where a concern cannot be resolved without revealing the whistleblower's identity (i.e. whistleblower is called to court as witness), the Company will consult further with the whistleblower before proceeding.
Upon receipt of the report, Acre Works Sdn. Bhd. will take the following actions:
- Conduct investigation internally or through a disciplinary process;
- Refer to authorities (i.e. Police) if there are criminal elements;
- Report to Acre Work's business associates if it is found in breach of their code of conduct of which the management obligated to comply with.
Employees and interested parties may opt to channel concerns about illegal, unethical, improper business conduct affecting them through the following:
- Lodge a report to the MACC office; or
- At the nearest police station; or
- Any whistleblowing channel that is available to the affected party.
All concerns will be treated confidentially and every effort will be made not to reveal the whistleblower's identity. Where a concern cannot be resolved without revealing the whistleblower's identity (i.e. whistleblower is called to court as witness), the Company will consult further with the whistleblower before proceeding.
