Gift , Hospitality & Entertainment Policy
Acre Works Sdn. Bhd. committed to conduct business in a fair, and ethical manner with the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
Acre Works Sdn. Bhd. and its employees do not accept gifts — including cash and cash equivalents — from vendors, suppliers, customers, as well as potential employees, vendors or suppliers, or any other individual or organisation to avoid conflict of interest, the appearance of the conflict of interest, or the need for our employees to examine the ethics of acceptance.
Where the situations may arise to give or receive gift, entertainment or hospitality during the natural course of business, the following exceptions to the policy may apply:

Bhd. and its employees do not accept gifts — including cash and cash equivalents — from vendors, suppliers, customers, as well as potential employees, vendors or suppliers, or any other individual or organisation to avoid conflict of interest, the appearance of the conflict of interest, or the need for our employees to examine the ethics of acceptance.
Where the situations may arise to give or receive gift, entertainment or hospitality during the natural course of business, the following exceptions to the policy may apply:
- When the practice of gifts is customary or cultural within moderate and reasonable value;
- The gifts, hospitality or entertainment are of moderate and reasonable value, not exceeding RM100 per occasion;
- The intention behind giving or receiving any gifts, hospitality or entertainment is not for an improper motive to obtain or retain a business, or to obtain some form of benefit or advantage, whether it is for the business or for the individual employee;
- If the employee refers the matter to the immediate supervisor or HOD to obtain advice and approval
All giving and receiving gifts must be treated with ethical and transparent to uphold the integrity of our business relationships and ensure compliance with anti-bribery laws.
